Paragraph Block ​

Type: Reference | Audience: Interface builder user

The Paragraph block renders body text. Use it for descriptions, instructions, or any longer text that is not a heading.

A Paragraph block rendered as the body line 'Deal: Legendary 1995 EUR' below the view's title, populated by mixing static text with Data Picker tags.

Settings ​

Default Appearance ​

Out of the box, a Paragraph block renders with:

  • Font size: 14 pixels
  • Font color: black
  • Bold / Italic / Underline: off
  • Background: transparent
  • Border radius: 0

You can change any of these in the block's Style sub-tab.

Style and Visibility ​

The Paragraph block uses the standard Style sub-tab (background, font, borders, radius) and Visibility sub-tab in Block Settings, the same as every other block. See Block Styles and Conditional Visibility.
